Privacy policy
This policy explains how ShortsFactory handles information when an operator connects a social account and publishes approved short-form media.
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. Information handled
ShortsFactory handles the information needed to operate connected publishing: account identifiers, display names, OAuth credentials, media files, captions, publication status, and operational logs. The application requests only the provider scopes configured for the enabled integration.
2. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate connected accounts, prepare and publish approved media at the operator's direction, monitor processing, retry recoverable failures, and show publication history. We do not sell account information or use connected account data for unrelated advertising.
3. Storage and security
OAuth credentials are kept in the local credential store used by the desktop deployment. Media and operational records are stored in the configured application storage. Access should be limited to authorized operators and the machine or infrastructure running the application.
4. Provider sharing
When you authorize a provider, the application sends the media and metadata required for the selected operation to that provider. The provider handles that information under its own privacy policy and terms. You can revoke provider access or disconnect the account from the application settings.
5. Your choices
You may disconnect accounts, disable automatic publication, and remove application data through the available settings and maintenance controls. Requests about data handled by a provider should also be directed to that provider.
6. Contact
